Morning Light

"Morning Light"

There's a place, a garden for the young
To laugh and dance in safety among
The shimmering light in the garden of peace

But steal a bite and paradise is lost
With darkened hearts we didn't count the cost
Forgot all we left behind

Life picks up speed before you know
We're holding on for dear life, Oh Lord
We're too proud to turn back now

One day it all falls down
It breaks our heart and it breaks our crown
Brings us down where we see

There's a way that seems right to a man

Machen wir es Gott heut´ nicht so schwer
er gab für uns sein Liebstes her.
Er liebt mit allem, was er hat
und seine Liebe macht uns satt!

Ja, bin ich ihm in allem gleich?
Wird bei der Frag´ das Herz dir weich?
Oder wird dir eher Angst und Bang?
Dann fang´doch gleich zu handeln an!

Geh´auf die Knie
so wie noch nie
und trag dein Herz
schnell himmelwärts.

Klag deinen Mangel, deine Not,
dann gibt er dir sein Himmelsbrot.
Und sage dich von Sünde los;
ja die Vergebung, die ist groß!

Lässt du dir gern vom HERRN vergeben,
dann wird es gut in deinem Leben.
Dann kommt sein Licht, in all dein Dunkel,
ein helles Himmelslichtgefunkel.

Und sind der Freuden jetzt nicht viel,
ja Gott sieht deine ganze Müh!
Er will den Frieden für dein Herz,
und aus dir ziehen, jeden Schmerz.

Vertraue ihm, er meint es gut,
kann auch dir nehmen, tiefe Wut.
Manch Übel und die Bitterkeit,
von der wirklich echt befreit!

Ich wünsche dir den vollen Segen
und das sich deine Lebensschritte,
sich grad auf ihn hinzu bewegen
so das du kommst, zur wahren Mitte.
